Evan Green Named Rawls College of Business G.O.L.D. Award Recipient

Evan Green, Audit Partner at Whitley Penn and a 2015 graduate of Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business, has been named a 2025 G.O.L.D. (Graduated of the Last Decade) Award recipient by the Rawls College.

The G.O.L.D. Award honors alumni who have made significant contributions to their profession, community, or the Rawls College through early-career leadership, service, and impact. Recipients exemplify how to successfully transition into business careers and remain committed to supporting the Rawls College and its mission.

“I’m incredibly honored to receive the G.O.L.D. Award,” said Green. “My time at the Rawls College of Business was instrumental in shaping my career and values. To be recognized for my contributions so early in my journey is both humbling and motivating. I’m proud to represent the Rawls community and remain committed to giving back and helping others succeed.”

Green has extensive experience leading audit and assurance engagements for global, public, and private companies. He advises clients on U.S. GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP, and SEC matters, with a strong focus on the energy sector including upstream, midstream, and oilfield services as well as private equity and family office structures. He also participated in Whitley Penn’s International Secondment Program, gaining valuable international exposure that continues to inform his work today.

Green earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the Rawls College in 2015.
