Whitley Penn Welcomes Digital Services Managing Director, Slade Murphy

Whitley Penn is pleased to announce that Slade Murphy has joined the firm as a Managing Director in the firm’s Digital Services practice.
Murphy is a finance and digital transformation professional with more than 20 years of experience specializing in reporting and analytics, large-scale business transformation and financial operations, including merger and acquisitions.

Murphy has led cross-functional teams through complex initiatives such as system implementations, post-merger integrations, and large-scale strategic transformations. He also has led the development of data products to support decision making and drive long-term growth. His industry experience spans telecommunications, consumer services, and manufacturing.
Murphy is a licensed CPA in Washington state and is currently pursuing reciprocal licensure in Texas. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Administration – Finance from Central Washington University, where he also competed for the men’s soccer team.
