Whitley Penn’s Jake Morris Serves on Baylor University Accounting Advisory Board

Jake Morris, Partner-in-Charge of Client Accounting & Advisory Services at Whitley Penn, is serving on the Accounting Advisory Board for Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business.
The Accounting Advisory Board brings together accomplished accounting and business professionals who provide industry perspective, support student development, and help ensure Baylor’s accounting programs remain aligned with the evolving needs of the profession.
As a member of the board, Morris contributes his experience advising clients across a range of industries and joins fellow leaders in supporting the continued excellence of Baylor’s nationally recognized accounting program.

Morris has more than 15 years of accounting experience spanning both public accounting and industry roles. As a Certified Public Accountant, he works closely with business owners, executives, and finance teams to strengthen accounting and finance functions, navigate complex business challenges, and support informed decision-making.
He earned his BBA in Accounting from Baylor University and MAcc from the University of Houston.
