Whitley Penn Expands Disputes Practice with Addition of Heath Whitaker

Heath Whitaker has joined Whitley Penn as a Forensic & Litigation Services Managing Director, Commercial and IP Disputes, further expanding the firm’s capabilities in complex litigation, investigations, and dispute advisory services.
Whitaker joins the firm with more than 15 years of experience advising organizations, legal counsel, lenders, and project stakeholders on high-stakes disputes, investigations, and risk-related matters. His background includes commercial litigation support, forensic accounting, claims analysis, governance reviews, compliance assessments, and risk management engagements across a variety of industries.

In his role, Whitaker will focus on commercial and intellectual property disputes with an emphasis in construction project litigation. He will build a new service line with an emphasis on construction project litigation where he will monitor capital projects for firm clients to help them avoid audit findings and future disputes.
Whitaker holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University.
