Autrey, CPA, ABV has more than 30 years of tax, advisory and business valuation experience focused on public and private clients.
Autrey is the Former Chairman for the Major Firms Group, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA).
Autrey was formerly on the Cook Children’s Hospital Board of Trustees, the Texas Land Conservancy Board, a Former Board Member for the Community Enrichment Center, and was a Former Chairman for the Community Foundation of North Texas. He is the Former Chairman of the Board and Former Vice Chairman for the ACH Child & Family Services Foundation, Former National Advisory Board Member for BBVA Compass, Former Chairman of the Tarrant County United Way – Alexis de Tocqueville Society, Former Chairman of the Fort Worth Chapter Young Presidents Organization, Former Chairman of The Bridge Youth Shelter, a Former Chairman of the World President’s Organization and is a Former Board Member & Assistant Treasurer for the Child Study Center of Fort Worth among many other Board roles for non-profits in the areas of land conservation, children’s advocacy groups and the organizations supporting health and the arts to name a few.
Autrey earned his B.B.A in Accounting and Finance from Texas Tech University and a MBA with a Data Analytics concentration from Abilene Christian University.
Penn is one of the founders of Whitley Penn. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV).
Penn currently sits on the Board of Trustees for the Scottish Rite for Children Hospital and has been a supporter of the hospital for more than 40 years. He is former chairman of two other hospital boards as well as former Chairman of the Hurst-Euless Bedford Chamber of Commerce. Penn has served on numerous charitable and non-profit boards throughout his career. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) including the Forensic & Valuation Services Division, Fort Worth Chapter of Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), Financial Consulting Group, LC, and the Dallas & Tarrant Bar Association Family Law Sections.
Jim earned his BBA from the University of Houston.
