Irfan Dossani leads the Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) group at Whitley Penn. He has more than 26 years of tax compliance and consulting, accounting and business advisory experience focused on privately held companies and entrepreneurs. His areas of practice include tax planning, mergers and acquisitions and accounting systems design consulting.
In 2018, Irfan founded Whitley Penn’s Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) group, which remains one of the firm’s fastest-growing practices. His vision and execution alike have positioned CAAS as a cornerstone of the firm’s advisory offerings.
A frequent national speaker, Irfan is a recognized voice on topics such as digital transformation, advisory innovation, and the future of accounting. He serves on the Board of the Information Technology Alliance (ITA) and has held advisory roles with Intuit’s Executive Advisory Council and Large Firm Partner Council, as well as Bill’s Advisory Council. He is also a sought after thought leader and contributes insights to industry publications and platforms including Accounting Today and CPA.com.
Irfan holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Texas Christian University and is a graduate of the Stagen Integral Leadership Program from Stagen Leadership Academy.
