Curtis Maxfield has more than 26 years of practice with both public and private clients. Curtis serves clients across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, technology and tax-exempt organizations.
Curtis is the tax leader for Whitley Penn’s Restaurant, Entertainment, Retail & Hospitality industry group and supports the federal tax M&A function of the firm’s Deal Advisory practice. He has extensive experience advising a broad range of clients on the federal and multi-state taxation of Subchapter C Corporations, including consolidated groups, Subchapter S Corporations, partnerships and individual business owners.
Curtis is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Dallas Chapter of TXCPA, and immediate Past-President of the DFW Chapter of the BYU Management Society.
Curtis received his BS in Accounting and MAcc in Tax from Brigham Young University.
