Austin has in-depth knowledge and familiarity with SEC reporting (accelerated and non-accelerated filers) including experience in assessing the design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of controls in compliance with SOX.

Austin Grigsby has more than 14 years of Audit and Assurance experience primarily serving both public and private clients primarily in the upstream and midstream energy industries, but also in energy adjacent industries. Austin has in-depth knowledge and familiarity with SEC reporting (accelerated and non-accelerated filers) including experience in assessing the design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of controls in compliance with SOX.
Austin brings significant technical experience as evidenced by his successful management of two SEC company audits that were inspected by the PCAOB that passed without comment. He is responsible for all aspects of the assurance process including planning, internal control evaluation, risk assessment, fieldwork, and report issuance and engagement closure.
Austin is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) and the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG). He serves in various Houston area professional groups including Houston Producers Forum, the Association of Corporate Growth, and the Petroleum Accountants Society of Houston where he serves as the Committee Chair/Lead for the Financial Reporting and Taxation Committee.
Austin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Rhodes College and his Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Houston.
