His studies in behavioral finance and investment management have reinforced his belief that successful planning is as much about understanding people as it is understanding portfolios. He remains committed to creating an experience where every client feels heard, valued, and supported through each stage of life.
A graduate of California State University, Sacramento, John was an All-Conference football player, later inducted into the university’s Hall of Fame, and honored with the Alumni Distinguished Service Award. He has also completed advanced studies in Behavioral Finance and Investing through Harvard University and Investment Management and Portfolio Strategies through the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Before beginning his career in financial services, John was drafted by the Raiders and played ten years in the NFL and is best known for his time as a member of the Dallas Cowboys’ offensive line, winning Super Bowls XXVII and XXVIII.
