In his role as the firm’s Assurance Quality Control Director, Mac Causey oversees and provides guidance to engagement teams who are involved in complex audit and accounting matters. He has many years of public accounting experience and has spent the most recent of those supervising large audit engagements to ensure that they are following all guidelines set forth by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). He spent seven years in the Inspections division of the PCAOB, inspecting the audit work of the Big Four firms both domestically and internationally.

By continuously refining his technical skills and abilities, Mac is able to provide consultation to engagement teams working on relevant accounting topics across many industries; lead trainings on topics including SEC Updates, ICFR testing, and PCAOB Inspections and standards; and serve as a resource to teams evaluating the requirements of the audit standards.
