With 20 years of leadership experience in finance, law, and operations, including more than 40 out-of-court workouts and bankruptcy reorganizations, Jeff Anapolsky applies the valuable insights and creative solutions that he learned as an advisor (Bear Stearns, Wasserstein Perella), lender (T. Rowe Price), investor (American Capital), and lawyer (Akin Gump) to help companies reach their highest potential and investors generate favorable returns.

 

Strategy: As co-author of The Art of Distressed M&A, Jeff has taught restructuring to over 300 MBAs. As a trusted advisor, he coaches and advises CEOs, CFOs, lenders, and investors to make difficult decisions with imperfect information.

Transactions: Applying lessons learned through decades of dealmaking, Jeff has developed effective strategies for getting debt, equity and M&A transactions closed. Using advanced skills in financial analysis and complex valuation, Jeff designs creative structures to align interests, resolve disputes, mitigate risks, and reach agreement.

Restructuring: Jeff is a turnaround operator with an investor’s perspective. His extensive investing experience includes sub-par debt, DIP/exit loans, bridge loans, credit default swaps, trade claims, litigation finance, reorganized equities, rescue financings, loan-to-own and buyouts of turnarounds, workouts, underperformers, corporate carve-outs, and unconventional assets.

Special Situations: As an industry generalist and functional expert, Jeff has created credible forecasts, raised private capital, resolved multi-party disputes, determined complex valuation, managed transaction closings, and delivered effective presentations for a variety of special situations, including:
