Fort Worth, TX (May 21, 2019) – Whitley Penn is pleased to announce that Andy Hines, Audit Manager in the Fort Worth office, has been selected as Director of Helping Restore Ability (HRA), a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping Texans with disabilities and their families find the care they need.
Andy Hines is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Auditing Manager for Whitley Penn in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Mr. Hines obtained his Masters of Science in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington in May 2011.
He began his work at Whitley Penn in January 2010 as an Audit intern. After gaining experience working for Alterity Inc. and Nexia Australia, Hines returned to Whitley Penn as a Senior Auditor in September 2011. He advanced to his current position as Audit Manager for the Dallas/Fort Worth area in July 2016.

Helping Restore Ability provides inclusive care for people of all ages, ethnicities, genders, and physical/intellectual disabilities such as Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, Alzheimer’s, Diabetes, Quadriplegia, autism, spinal cord injury, developmental delay, multiple sclerosis and spina bifida.
The organization was originally founded as the Arlington Handicapped Association in 1977 by Sam Provence who is believed to be the last person diagnosed with polio in Tarrant County.
The organization’s legal name was changed to ‘Helping Restore Ability’ in 2011 in order to reflect HRA’s goals and mission without the implied restrictions of the word “handicapped.”
