Brett Murphy and Kyle Willey Selected as Board Members for the Risk Management Association

Dallas, TX (August 23, 2018) – Whitley Penn is pleased to announce Austin Audit Partner, Brett Murphy, and Dallas Audit Senior Manager, Kyle Willey, have been selected to their corresponding chapters’ Risk Management Association Board of Directors. Murphy will serve on the Central Texas Chapter Board and Willey will serve on the North Texas Chapter Board.

Both Murphy and Willey have more than 10 years of public accounting experience heavily concentrated in financial institutions, including commercial banks, retail banks, bank holding companies, and savings and loan associations. In addition, they have worked with both publicly-traded and privately-held companies, in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, infrastructure companies and employee benefit plans.

Brett Murphy, CPA graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He is a member of Texas Bankers Association, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Independent Bankers Association of Texas – Leadership Division. Brett is also a certified coach within the Special Olympics of Texas.

Kyle Willey, CPA, CFE graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He is a member of Texas Bankers Association, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Independent Bankers Association of Texas – Leadership Division. Kyle volunteers with the Special Olympics of Texas.
