Fort Worth, TX (November 17, 2022) – Aaron Ballard, Whitley Penn Forensic, Litigation & Valuation Services Partner, has been selected to receive the 2022 AICPA Forensic and Valuation Services (FVS) Standing Ovation Recognition.
This program recognizes professionals in the FVS practice area who are age 40 or under, have received the ABV and/or CFF credential, and have worked hard to advance within the profession. Standing Ovation recipients were honored at the AICPA Forensic & Valuation Services Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ballard is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas and holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential issued by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). He performs valuations of businesses in connection with litigation, gift and estate tax reporting, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, consulting, and other purposes. His industry experience includes professional practices, real estate holding companies, oil & gas exploration and production, oilfield services, family limited partnerships, information technology, manufacturing and distribution, automobile dealers, and healthcare, among others.
In addition to performing business valuations, Ballard also provides forensic accounting, damages and lost profits calculations, and other litigation support services in connection with marital dissolutions, commercial litigation, probate litigation, partner disputes, and other types of litigation. He provides expert witness testimony at depositions, hearings, and trials and provides assistance with settlement negotiations and mediation.
Ballard obtained his undergraduate degree in Finance and Accounting from Abilene Christian University in 2008 and his master’s degree in Accounting from Abilene Christian University in 2009. He began his career at Whitley Penn in the fall of 2009.
