Plano, TX (December 6, 2021) – Whitley Penn announces that Partner Matthew Reiter, will become the Director of Audit effective January 1, 2022.

Reiter is the Partner in Charge of Whitley Penn’s Plano Office and in addition to serving clients he is the Technical Resource and Quality Control Partner for the Firm’s audit practice. He has extensive public accounting experience, auditing both public and private clients and focuses primarily in the following industries: technology, healthcare, manufacturing and distribution, logistics, and professional services.
He currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer for Frisco FastPacs, Finance Committee Chair for St. Andrew United Methodist Church, an advisory board member for Heroes for Children, and a former member of the Texas Tech University Accounting Advisory Council. Reiter is also a graduated member of Leadership Dallas Class of 2012 and Leadership Frisco Class of 2017.
Matthew earned his BBA and MSA in Accounting from Texas Tech University.
