Dallas, TX (September 27, 2021) – Whitley Penn professionals recently participated in the initiative to raise money for the American Heart Association’s Dallas Heart Walk. Through individual contributions, Team Whitley Penn was able to collectively beat their goal of $25,000 and raised over $33,000 in donations.
“I am extremely fortunate to be a part of a group of professionals who create an environment that extends its goals beyond business,” stated Whitley Penn Audit Partner, Jeff Lawlis. “The American Heart Association is an outstanding organization that continues to increase research efforts to save lives, and we are humbled to be a part of our community’s initiative.”
Lawlis led the fundraising initiative with other Whitley Penn professionals, Cole Elliot, Camron Harris, and Kyle Willey. To increase awareness, Lawlis sat down with WPWealth Partner Shane Miller, and Julie Womack, Corporate Development Director of the AHA Dallas Heart Walk, on a recent episode of Whitley Penn Talks to discuss the importance of AHA and the Heart Walk.
The AHA Dallas Heart Walk continues to work towards its goal of $5.7 million. The progress currently sits at approximately $4 million. To donate, click here.
