Houston, TX (April 20, 2021) – Whitley Penn is expanding its Strategic Consulting practice by adding Jeff Anapolsky as Managing Director in the firm’s Houston office. With more than 20 years of leadership experience involving recapitalizations and restructurings, Anapolsky serves clients as financial advisor, turnaround consultant, independent director, and expert witness.
As an industry generalist and functional expert, Anapolsky connects special situations with alternative capital to align a company’s capital structure with its operational outlook. Applying lessons learned through decades of dealmaking, Anapolsky designs creative structures to align interests, resolve disputes, mitigate risks and ultimately help clients navigate the path to closing special situations deals. As co-author of “The Art of Distressed M&A: Buying Selling and Financing Troubled & Insolvent Companies,” he teaches Corporate Financial Restructuring to MBAs at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business.

Anapolsky earned a B.S.Econ. with a Finance concentration, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of Business and B.A. in Mathematics, magna cum laude, from the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. He then went on to attend Harvard Business School, where he earned his M.B.A. and Harvard Law School where he earned his J.D.
