Dallas, TX – (December 8, 2020) – Oil & Gas Assistant Controller, Jeff Howard, APA®, has earned the Accredited Petroleum Accountant® (APA) Certification. The APA® certification is offered by the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies, Inc. (COPAS) and equips industry professionals with the knowledge and understanding to excel and perform at the highest level.
Howard is an Assistant Controller in Whitley Penn’s oil and gas outsourced accounting services and consulting department. He has more than six years of experience and has worked in a variety of roles in the industry and with Whitley Penn. His specialties include financial reporting, accounts payable, property accounting, audit preparation, and treasury management. He is also experienced in complex oil and gas accounting entries. Howard has provided clients with hands‐on experience in software selection, implementations, and project management and analysis.
Howard attended St. Edward’s University, where he earned his B.B.A. and graduated magna cum laude.
