Fort Worth, TX (October 9, 2020) – Whitley Penn is pleased to announce that Melissa Cline, CPA, CVA, CFE, CIRA/CDBV, has joined the firm’s Fort Worth office as a Director in the Forensic, Litigation, and Valuation group.
Cline is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in Oklahoma and Texas, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). She holds the titles of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), granted by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), granted by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She is also a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and is Certified in Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV) granted by the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.
Cline earned her BS in Marketing from Missouri State University with continuing education in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has also completed continuing education courses in business valuations, insolvency and restructuring and various computer software applications.
