Blok is a Certified Licensing Professional and a Certified Fraud Examiner with more than 17 years of experience working with both public and private clients. He has served as a testifying expert in federal district and state court as well as in private arbitrations involving economic, accounting, valuation and strategic issues. He has testified in a variety of litigation matters involving patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, theft of trade secrets, breach of contract, business valuation, bankruptcy, fraud, business interruption, personal injury, wrongful death, and wrongful termination. Blok has testified on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in the analysis and determination of economic damages, including lost profits, reasonable royalties, price erosion, un-just enrichment, diminution of value and insolvency analyses, valuation, and pre- and post-judgment interest.
Blok earned a B.B.A. from Baylor University in Finance and Risk Management and Insurance and an M.B.A. from the University of Houston. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Licensing Executives Society, and Houston Intellectual Property Law Association. Blok has also served as a guest lecturer at the University of Houston Law School, Baylor University School of Law, and South Texas School of Law.
Bratic is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner. His career spans more than 32 years focusing on providing litigation and valuation support serving a broad spectrum of clients with litigation and valuations both domestically and internationally. Bratic has testified in federal district, bankruptcy, and state court, ICC, ITC and AAA proceedings and has served as a court-appointed expert.
Bratic earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from The Wharton Graduate School at the University of Pennsylvania. He serves as: the Chairperson for the U.S. Licensing Executive Society International Committee, a member of the Patent Misuse Committee for the Intellectual Property Organization, an Editorial Board member for the Journal of Commercial Biotechnology and Managing Intellectual Property, Associate Editor of the Journal of Biotechnology Applications, a member of the Group of Experts on Enforcing Intellectual Property Rights for the Commonwealth of Independent States for the United Nations/Economic Commission for Europe, and a lecturer at the University of Houston Law School.
